City Hearts was founded by Dave and Jenny Gilpin in 2004 with the mission of loving people back to life.

Jenny’s heart for women who were victims of traumatic circumstances to know their true value, birthed the City Hearts Restore Programme: a five bed house for women coping with unplanned pregnancies, alcoholism, depression, addiction and eating disorders.

From there City Hearts has expanded in capacity, heart and influence. The Restore Programme is now able to care for 11 women. City Hearts Anti-Trafficking was launched in 2011 with two houses for survivors of Human Trafficking. In 2012, we launched City Hearts Accra in Ghana aimed at working with children at risk, and in 2014, our red light district outreach in Frankfurt.

This video is the story of one of many lives that have been impacted and transformed by the work of City Hearts.
