Whatever role you have in a relationship- that’s the role you’ll keep for the rest of that relationship.
If your gift is organising stuff, then that will be your role. Stop complaining that no one does what you do.
If you’re the present giver, the empathiser, the funny one, the one who forgives first, pays first, opens up first, the listener or the initiator- stop pulling back in the hope that someone else will take up the role.
They won’t. It’s YOUR gift to that relationship.
Relationships will always seem unfair to the gifted. Your giving has made it that way. Quit the self pity.
Love the life you lead and love the role you’ve forged because of the gift you carry. There’s no one like you.
