The new thing is always repelled by the current thing because it lacks depth and richness. We adore depth because it’s stable. And stability means peace. And that’s a huge plus in a world of chaos.
The new thing always starts out shallow, thin and inexperienced. Yet it’s freshness blows richness out of the water. It will eventually get richer, deeper and older as time passes.
But by that time a new and shallow freshness will blow that away. Why? God adores fresh. Stay fresh or go home packing.
