Dave outlines his expectations for 2009 for Hope City Church in the midst of a national recession. He looks at the power of declaration and praise over your territory. It’s time to enlarge, stretch, lengthen and strengthen (Isaiah 54 vs 2). Shrinking back is not an option!

I have always been taught that the church is God’s church, not your church!
@ K Smith, Yes it is God’s church but like a library book He’s given me something to look after. Hopefully all the energy, vision and faith that I have are also library books on loan from God. Thanks for your imput.
Wanted to say thank you for explaining Isiaih 54. I was given this word in a time of devotion with God when I was 15. I am now 30 and I don’t think I’ve even fully understood it like i do now having watched your blog.
Thanks.
Sue
P.S I have just joined Hope City Newcastle in the last week and loving it.
